More than 200 tractors from across England, Wales and even as far afield as Scotland will descend on Glanrhyd, Cardigan, on Sunday, June 15, for the eleventh running of the Welsh National Tractor Road Run.

The run is being organised by the North Pembrokeshire Tractor Enthusiasts, a group formed by Dai Rees, who brought together a small committee including Alun Owens, Keith and Kevin Evans, Sion Morgan, and Peter Lewis.

Over the past year, the committee has been working hard to plan a safe and enjoyable route, while also encouraging tractor enthusiasts from across the region to take part in this popular event. Their efforts aim to bring the community together in support of three important charities: Wales Air Ambulance, Crymych First Responders, and Cardigan First Responders, all of which provide vital emergency services to local people.

Starting on the south side of Glanrhyd at Awenfryn, by kind permission of the Evans family, the 35-mile route will wind through the lanes and villages of North Pembrokeshire on the edge of the Preselis, showcasing spectacular coastal views and lush countryside.

The tractors will make their way to the lunch stop at Cwm Gwaun, Penrallt Ddu, by kind permission of the Davies family, where hot food and toilet facilities will be available. They will then head back northwards to finish at Awenfryn.

If you want to witness the spectacle, please head to the start point where tractors will begin assembling from 8am. You’ll be able to pick up programmes and find full details of the route there. The convoy is scheduled to set off from Awenfryn promptly at 10:30am, so arrive early to catch all the action.
