Small Breeds Farm Park near Kington is inviting visitors to enjoy the sights and sounds of the countryside in a gentler way, with two special quiet mornings planned this summer.
The events, running on Saturday, June 28 and Saturday, July 19 from 9am to 10:30am, are designed to offer a peaceful, sensory-friendly experience of the farm - particularly for neurodivergent visitors and anyone who may find crowds or loud environments overwhelming.
Before the park officially opens for the day, guests will have the chance to explore the site at their own pace, meet some of the animals, and soak up the calm atmosphere.
Gill Perkins from Small Breeds Farm said: “These gentle sessions are perfect for anyone - young or old, especially neurodivergent visitors - who prefer a calmer atmosphere without loud noises or big crowds.
“You’ll have the chance to stroll around the farm, say hello to some of the animals, and enjoy the space before we officially open for the day.
“Take your time, breathe it in, and enjoy the farm at your own pace.”
The events are ticket-only, and booking is essential. To reserve a spot, visitors can call 01544 231109 or email [email protected].
Groups can also arrange a dedicated quiet morning by calling the farm direct.
