New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Powys’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 4: The Drovers Cafe & Restaurant ltd at 34/36 High Street, Builth Wells, Powys; rated on August 10

• Rated 3: Daphnes Food & Drink Ltd at The Corner Shop, 53 High Street, Presteigne, Powys; rated on August 10

• Rated 2: Nivisha Express Limited at Smithfield Garage, Builth Wells Forecourt, Station Road, Llanelwedd; rated on August 10

It means that of Powys's 410 similar establishments with ratings, 283 (69%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
