New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Powys’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 3: Little Italy at Bell Lane, Brecon, Powys; rated on April 26
• Rated 1: Clock Tower Tea Shop at 24 Broad Street, Knighton, Powys; rated on April 26
• Rated 1: Red Mango at Pool Road, Newtown, Powys; rated on April 26
It means that of Powys's 402 similar establishments with ratings, 276 (69%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
