A FOODBANK has been launched in Ystradgynlais to support hard up people.

Charity Catch (Cwmtawe Action to Combat Hardship) aims to provide emergency food parcels to those in dire need throughout the Swansea Valley, including the Ystradgynlais area.

It says changes to the welfare system and rising living costs are forcing more and more people financial difficulties.
