PENTREF Baptist Church members hosted a very successful Sunday School Reunion, last Sunday afternoon, as part of their 300-year anniversary celebrations.
There was a good attendance of more than 40 former pupils, with some of the now adults coming from as far away as Shrewsbury and Cwmbran to attend. There was a Sunday School type service, including a duet by long standing Pentref members and now deacons John Lloyd and Olive Hughson.
During the afternoon old friends were able to reminiscence over a traditional tea, which of course included jelly and blancmange!
Several requests were made for a repeat of the reunion in future years.
