A GROUP of award-winning Breconshire food and drink producers say working together is the recipe to success.

Breconshire food companies took an impressive 12 awards home from last month's prestigious True Taste Food and Drink Awards - dubbed the culinary Oscars.

Seven producers from the area tasted victory at the extravanganza, compared with just three from Montgomeryshire and none from Radnorshire.

Lauding their recent win, the local food connoiseurs have attributed their awards to a winning collaborative 'informal network' of producers in the area.
