RECENTLY at Llandrindod Wells Golf Club, ladies captain Eve Price presented a cheque for £1,000 collected during her year of office to Mr and Mrs David Leeton, members of South Powys Branch of Parkinsons UK, who accepted it on behalf of the branch. In addition to this very generous donation, Mrs Price went on to present the Leetons with a cash gift of £650, which she had received from friends and family in lieu of gifts celebrating a significant birthday, this latter sum being donated specifically for research into a cure for Parkinsons.
