New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.
Restaurants, cafes and canteens
The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Building 110, Sennybridge Training Camp at Sennybridge, Brecon, Powys; rated on June 29
• Rated 5: Building 64 at Rank & File Dining Room & Kitchen - B64, Sennybridge Training Camp, Sennybridge, Brecon; rated on June 29
• Rated 5: Cobblers Tearoom at 44 High Street, Llanidloes, Powys; rated on June 28
• Rated 5: The Monkey Puzzle at 6 Puzzle Square, Welshpool, Powys; rated on June 28
• Rated 5: NPTC Campus at Brecon Campus, Coleg Powys, Penlan, Brecon; rated on June 21
Pubs, bars and nightclubs
And three ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:
• Rated 5: The Royal Oak at High Street, Presteigne, Powys; rated on June 30
• Rated 5: Prince Llewelyn Inn at Cilmery, Builth Wells, Powys; rated on June 29
