New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

White Hart Inn and Bunkhouse, a pub, bar or nightclub at Talybont On Usk, Brecon, Powys was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 22.

And Inglenook Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Union Street, Welshpool, Powys was also given a score of five on January 24.
