New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.
Parkers Cafe Bar, at 1 Shortbridge Street, Newtown, Powys was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 4.
And Dominos Pizza, at Straight Lines House, New Road, Newtown, Powys was also given a score of five on January 3.
It means that of Powys's 411 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 280 (68%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
