THEATR Brycheiniog welcomed hundreds of little pumpkins, witches, ghosts and skeletons through its doors for Halloween last Tuesday, October 31, for a family friendly day of crafts and workshops.
The day featured fun and creative Halloween-themed craft activities in the theatre’s Andrew Lamont Gallery, run by Brecknock Museum & Art Gallery, as well as a very special visit from JJ, the loveable, silly character from Jermin Productions Jack and the Beanstalk, which runs at Theatr Brycheiniog from Thursday December 28 to Sunday, December 31.
Celebrated children’s author, Sarah KilBride, was also present to run two Halloween-themed drama workshops, where participants had fun learning creating ‘monster’ characters and weaving tales of spiders and spells. Sarah will run a new regular session for babies and toddlers at Theatr Brycheiniog called Bookworm Boogie.
This will include drama, stories, music, movement and art, and is a great chance to children and their carers to have fun and socialise. Bookworm Boogie runs every Friday, 10am-11am.
Tickets are £4.50 and drinks and refreshments will be available.
