THE HIGHWAYS Committee will consider an assessment after concerns are raised about the dangers of a school bus area.
Powys County Council were made aware of the issues at the school pick up and collection point in Bwlch and have assessed the length of road which has been ranked for inclusion at the next Highways Committee meeting under the Road Safety and Traffic Management Scheme programme.
Parents of children catching the bus at the drop off and pick up point are worried that it is leaving their children exposed and is an 'accident waiting to happen.'
A meeting was held in the village last Thursday, October 9 and was attended by Kirsty Williams AM for Brecon and Radnorshire who shared the parents and local councils concerns about the safety of the children and residents.
