SIXTY tractors attended the annual Hundred House Tractor Run on Sunday, May 13, one of the most scenic in the tractor run calendar.

Participants had travelled from all over Radnorshire, Breconshire, Shropshire and Herefordshire to attend the annual run being organised in aid of the village hall.

Under the leadership of Mervyn Price, in his JCB fastrac, the tractors firstly headed up the Edw valley taking in the communities of Bettws and Brynmelys to meet the main road to head towards Fforest Inn.

Turning right here to follow the byway pass the Foice across Pentre Tump and Burl Hill to drop down towards Dolyhir before picking up the main road to Gladestry.

Once through Gladestry the tractors turn right for Colva and on to Bryngwyn. Dinner was served by the friends of the Hall committee, let it was off again, dropping down into Rhosgoch and over to Rhulen Hill. Tractors descended the steep hair-pinned road, passing through Rhulen and on to Cregina and back to Hundred House.

At the hall, the raffle was drawn and thanks were given to Mervyn for his hard work in organising such a scenic route.
