THICK black smoke billowed across the A470 after this lorry burst into flames.

Fortunately no-one was injured by the fire, which started in the engine of the vehicle just before 1.30pm on Monday, October 7.

The North to South Wales trunk road was blocked just north of Brecon for nearly two hours as firefighters tackled the blaze and for the lorry to be recovered.
