PRINCE Charles was congratulated on the birth of his first grandson when he visited the Royal Welsh show.
The visit of Charles and wife Camilla was the highlight of another successful show week, with a record attendance of 241,784 people passing through the gates over the four days during the show's 50th year at its permanent site in Llanelwedd.
Just two days before the Prince's Wednesday, July 24 visit his daughter-in-law, Kate, had given birth to Prince George, who is only behind his father William and Charles in line to the English throne.
