AS the new year dawns so does the annual pantomime season and members of the Llandrindod Wells Theatre Company are inviting the public to join them for their production at the Albert Hall later this month.
This year for their 2018 production they are staging ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ by Alan P Frayn by arrangement with Stage Right Creative. This is a traditional fun family pantomime suitable for all ages.
This is the first time that Jemma Thomas has produced a pantomime although she has been involved with the company for many years and is well known for the choreography she has created over the years.
The director this year is Phil Evans with Lianne Thomas doing the choreography. The wardrobe has been organised by Mandy Davies and the technical team are Rhys Gough, Keith Davies, Phil Hill and Andrew Morgan.
The title role is played by Zoe Evans as Jack. Once again Mike Gough is playing the part of the Dame known in the production as Dame Dotty Dimple.
There are all the traditional trappings of a good evening’s entertainment with the principal roles taken as follows, Abi Evans as Simple Simon, Laura Duggan as Picallili, Mandy Davies as Fairy Sugardust, Phil Evans as Rancid, Phil Hill as King Crumble, Emily Parkinson Watkins as Queen Apricot, Emma Davies as Princess Charlotte, Sian King as Snatchet, Ezra Tattersall as Scarper, Jane Blees as Humphrey, Cari Jackaman and Lianne Thomas as Buttermilk the cow and Andrew Morgan as the Giant. The band which will accompany the production include Joel Metcalf, Rob Lewis, John Kerr and Faith Gadfield.
This traditional fun family pantomime is suitable for all ages and the cast and crew of over fifty strong are excited to bring this story to life for your enjoyment.
