FOUR redundancies could be made at the Brecon Beacons National Park (BBNP) as it prepared to further cut its budget during the coming financial year.
Staff were told of the potential redundancies at a special staff meeting at the BBNP's base at Plas Y Fynnon, Cambrian Way in Brecon on Tuesday morning, January 20.
Chief Executive John Cook outlined a number of cost saving measures but warned staff job losses are inevitable.
The proposed redundancies, which will be subject to a statutory consultation period, come on top of seven lay offs, including six compulsory redundancies, it made in February last year.
Final recommendations and budget proposals will be put to park authority members for approval at their meeting on February 6.
