Emelia Watts, junior mayor of Knighton, kindly donated £200 she had saved in memory of her nanny Julia in a moving and poignant speech that she made at the bowling club in front of all the members.
Julia Watts played a large role in the club for many years and sadly passed away last year. Mrs Lynda Hall, Captain of the Bowling Club thanked Emelia very much and said the money will be put towards a memorial of Julia within the clubhouse and when it is decided Emelia will be invited back to see what her money has been put towards.
