THE Welsh Government has accepted it was wrong to claim a long promised kidney dialysis unit would open in Llandrindod Wells this summer.

Welsh health minister Lesley Griffiths has now admitted the four bed unit to serve mid Powys, first promised in 2009, is unlikely to open before February next year.
