A RADNORSHIRE town is launching a scheme where residents can swap and share services. The 'time bank' is being organised in Llandrindod Wells and the surrounding area by community organisation Cymryd Rhan. Elise Andrews, of the organisation, said: "Individuals offer their services to time bank members and can choose services they'd like from another member in return. "For example, a time bank member may offer to go along to a hospital appointment with another member, and in return could gain help with a DIY project from another member. The more people who contribute to a time bank, the more services will be on offer for all." For more info, call Elise or Samantha Evans at Cymryd Rhan on 01597 828050. Cymryd Rhan will also have a stall dedicated to the time bank scheme at the Queens Baton Relay event, for the Commonwealth Games, which is passing through Llandrindod Wells this Sunday, May 25.
