ELEVEN-year-old Ellie Mae Morgan of Crossgates had her locks cut off so she could donate them to the Little Princess Trust in Hereford, which is a charity providing real hair wigs free to children who undergo hair loss during treatment for illnesses such as cancer.
Gemma Sims from Capelli Hair Salon in Llandrindod Wells went to Crossgates CP School to cut off 15 inches of Ellie Mae’s hair just before the summer break. Ellie Mae had also raised more than £500 in sponsorship which is being matchfunded by Santander. The whole school watched the hair-cutting session.
Next term Ellie Mae will become a student at Llandrindod High School.
