The Met Office has issued a weather warning for heavy rain tomorrow morning.

The yellow warning for rain is in place from 2am until 3pm tomorrow (Wednesday) and covers much of southern Powys, including Brecon, Crickhowell and Ystradgynlais.

The forecaster says that rain will become heavy and persistent across affected areas tomorrow, morning, warning that areas on higher ground could see 40 to 60mm of rain in 9 to 12 hours, before clearing during the afternoon.

What to expect:

• Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer

• Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely

• Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer

• Some interruption to power supplies and other services likely
