THE crème de la crème of the rallying world roared into Mid Wales last week for the final installment of the World Rally Championship season.
With iconic Frenchman Sébastien Loeb having already wrapped up the driver's championship prior to the UK stage for an eighth overall title, it was the flying Finn Jarri-Matti Latvala who took centre stage to win and cement fourth place in the championship, although he finished 50 points behind Loeb, despite the Frenchman being forced to retire from the event after mechanical problems with his Citroën.
