A ONE million pound winning lottery ticket sold in Powys has now been claimed.
National Lottery operator Camelot launched a search last month for the lucky ticket holder who had yet to come forward to claim their £1m EuroMillions Maker prize.
The winning ticket had been bought in Powys and its numbers came up in the EuroMillions draw on July 13 when 13 UK millionaires were made.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery said: "We’re delighted that the winner of this amazing prize has now come forward and we hope that they will enjoy their win.
"It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out on this life-changing amount of money. We would like to remind all National Lottery players to check their tickets every time they play.”
No further information on the winner has been released as yet.
