LLYSWEN beauty queen Olivia Grant is aiming to go one better by winning the Miss Teen Galaxy Wales title after placing second in the competition last year.

Olivia goes forward as Miss Teen Galaxy Powys for a second year running.

If she achieves her dream of winning the all-Wales title she will then have the “once in a lifetime” opportunity of contesting the international Miss Teen Galaxy competition in Orlando, Florida.

Olivia said: “I am so grateful to have been given this opportunity once again and I cannot wait to see what this coming year has in store.

“I am so excited to get back on the Galaxy stage and hopefully this year I can bring the crown home to Llyswen.”

In the run-up to the final Olivia will be continuing her efforts to raise money for The Christie cancer research charity.

Olivia said she would like to thank all the sponsors, who have supported her in her quest for the Galaxy crown, in particular The Old Railway Line Garden Centre, Toni and Guy, Velvet Image and Braid and Blush.

Anyone who would like to book an appearance by Olivia or wishes to help out at any of the charitable events she is involved in can do so via the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/MissTeenPowysGalaxy/
