A BRECON man feared to have fallen into the River Usk has been named as Steven Moore.
Emergency services have been searching the river since 6am on Friday morning.
The 54-year-old local man is believed to have fallen into the river near Llanfaes Bridge in Brecon town centre at around 4am on Friday, June 22.
Dyfed Powys Police, the fire service and Brecon Mountain Rescue Team have been searching the river since 6am.
Dyfed Powys Police and a team from Brecon Mountain Rescue have been carrying out further searches on Sunday as the river level drop and visibility in the water improved.
Chief Inspector David Guiney said: "We had to stop searching yesterday as the river was swollen and fast flowing. Today river levels have dropped and conditions have improved so this afternoon, with the help of Brecon Mountain Rescue we have been able to continue the search.
"Search Officers have been carrying out checks along the river, the force helicopter has flown along length of the river using specialist heat seeking equipment and the mountain rescue team have been on the river in kayaks.
"Other searches in and around the town also continue.
"We have specially trained officers supporting the family during this difficult time and keeping them up to date with the search operation."
If anyone has any information relating to the search or Steven's whereabouts they can call 101 and ask for Brecon Police.
