Missing teenager James Corfield was last spotted in Builth Wells town centre on Monday night, it has been confirmed.
Concerns are growing for the 19-year-old, who was staying at the Young People’s Village, near the Royal Welsh Showground, who hasn’t been since since Monday night, July 24.
James, from Montgomery, Powys, was reported missing on Tuesday. Dyfed-Powys Police is leading the search for James and the Young Farmers Clubs and Powys council have pledged support for the search.
Members of the public wishing to assist in the search have been asked to report to the Young People’s Village Centre.
A statement from the Wales Federation of YFCs said: "Volunteers wishing to help with this search should report to the Young People’s Village Centre at 12pm Wednesday.
"Police have confirmed the last confirmed sighting of James was in Builth town on Monday evening. James is believed to be wearing a blue Abercrombie and Finch t-shirt, jeans and suede shoes. He is 6ft 2" slim build with short dark hair."
Earlier on Wednesday Dyfed-Powys Police said they are still appealing for information about the teenager who has gone missing at the Royal Welsh Show.The force has also asked local people to help by searching out buildings, sheds and gardens for any sign of James.
They said James had not been seen since Monday night, July 24 and Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for those attending the show, or visiting the Builth Wells area, to let them know if they see the 19-year-old.
Posters and flyers appealing for information have also appeared across the showground at Llanelwedd.
Police Community Support Officers have also been handing out leaflets to visitors appealing for information.
James, who is from Montgomery in Powys, was last seen in either the Young People’s Village, near the showground, the Royal Welsh Members Bar or in Builth Wells town centre.
Police have said they are concerned for the teenager and anyone who may have seen James or spoken to him recently to call Dyfed-Powys Police on 101.
