Morrisons Brecon collaborate with food bank with in store donation trolley

Volunteers at Brecon Food Bank recently welcomed Morrisons Community Champions, Claire Blanchard and Fiona Pearce to the centre last week.

The Morrisons pair received a behind the scenes tour of the food bank centre and learnt how they operate.

Following discussions the pair agreed to install an accessible instore trolley where customers can purchase Morrisons' own brand items for donation to Brecon Food Bank.

“We were thrilled to welcome Morrisons Community Champions, Claire Blanchard and Fiona Pearce to the centre last week,” said a spokesperson for Brecon Food Bank.

“Our lovely volunteers, Jeff Williams and Glenys Rowlands, were delighted to give them a tour behind the scenes and how we operate.

“Our grateful thanks to Morrisons and their team, for helping us to help those in need in our local communities.”

Morrisons customers will see the donation trolley in store; attached is a list of items that are donatable.
