On Saturday, June 14, Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called out to Cwm Gwdi by Dyfed-Powys Police to assist an individual who had fallen and hit their head.

Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were assisted by Welsh Ambulance Service Trust and Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team, and due to the nature of the call, Wales Air Ambulance were called.

After being treated by the team doctor, the casualty was then transferred to hospital by Air Ambulance.

A day later, Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called out to the Pen y Fan area to search for a missing walker who was separated from their walking party.

Brecon Mountain Rescue Team began with the intention of searching in the Storey Arms/ Pont ar Daf areas leading to Pen y Fan; Central Mountain Rescue Team were tasked with searching from Merthyr to the Neuadd area. Whilst making their way to the RV point, they met the missing woman on the road to Pontsticill who was unharmed and was then reunited with her party.
