A TEENAGE girl was flown to hospital with suspected spinal injuries after falling on a steep hillside in Powys.

Mountain rescuers and paramedics were called to help the 15-year-old girl after she was hurt on Gwastedyn Hill, Rhayader, on Sunday, March 4.

The teen, who had been out walking with friends, was said to be in pain, but was stabilised by a team from St John's Ambulance at the scene.
