BRECON and Radnorshire MP Chris Davies has collaborated with the Powys Association of Voluntary Organisations (PAVO) to run an event in Builth Wells at the Wyeside.
The event entitled ‘Meet the Funders’ was focused around helping local groups look at how to access various funding streams by meeting the funders at the event, such as Sport Wales, Heritage Lottery Fund and the Big Lottery Fund.
Mr Davies said: “It was great to be able to work with PAVO to organise this event in the brilliant Wyside Centre in Builth Wells. I opened the event and discussed various local projects that could benefit from accessing potential funding streams. I thoroughly enjoyed organising this event and meeting with organisations from all over Wales. It was a very informative evening and I hope to organise another event in the near future”
