Health and wellbeing drop-in days are being held at y Gaer in Brecon every month.
Organisations and services are invited to y Gaer to have a table and provide some information and support to people who may want it and meet them face-to-face.
A spokesperson for the drop-in sessions said: “We are at a time where it is increasingly difficult to unpick what services there are available in health, social and the charity sector. You don't know what you don't know. It is increasingly difficult to see your own GP, let alone be referred on to an appropriate service.
“Last month one lady was able to speak to an occupational therapist on the spot who advised on a safe technique to enable her mum to get in and out of her daughter’s car. Another couple were able to speak to somebody about their concerns that a relation may have dementia and what they could do.”
The next drop-in is on Thursday, January 22, and a following drop-in session will take place on Thursday, February 26.
