A woman has put out a plea for people to help find her dog after it disappeared during a walk on Pen y Fan.
Gina Mather, who lives in Tetbury in Gloucestershire, said her one-year-old sprocker spaniel Nellie ran off as she approached the summit of the mountain in the Brecon Beacons on Wednesday, September 5.
Gina, who has tried to trace her dog by putting out appeals on social media, said: "Nellie went missing just as we approached the summit. One minute she was there and the next she had vanished. She’s a very biddable, obedient dog and has never run off before, preferring to stick to me like glue.
"She’s a one-year-old choclate sprocker spaniel and is microchipped. She was also wearing a collar with a metal tag on it with my mobile number."
Anyone who thinks they may have seen Gina’s dog or believes they know of Nellie’s whereabouts should call Gina on 07810 480250.
