As heavy rain and strong winds increase as a result of StormClaudia, Natural Resources Wales are urging people to stay safe.

NRW issued the following advice: People travelling for work commutes or school runs are advised to take extra care asdriving conditions may be hazardous.

Do not drive or walk through flood water. It is dangerous and can be deeper than you think. If you have to travel, plan your route on the Traveline Cymru and Traffic Wales websites.

60cm of flowing water is enough to move your car. It can be deeper than you think; it can also carry debris and have hidden dangers too.
