New Radnor Community Council is calling for residents to help tackle speeding in the village by forming a community speedwatch group.

The move follows concerns raised by locals about vehicles speeding through New Radnor village, although the group will not operate on the nearby A44.

Volunteers interested in joining the speedwatch initiative are asked to contact Council Clerk Tracey Price by June 4 at [email protected] or on 01547 582575.

At the council’s annual meeting on May 8, Cllr Richard Harris was re-elected Chairman, with Cllr Elio Giordano continuing as Vice Chairman.
