THERE will be plenty to toast to this bank holiday weekend in Llandrindod Wells as the Llandod Ale Trail and Cider Nouveau returns.
With backing from the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), this is an event for those that like real ale, real cider or real perry.
Starting tomorrow (Friday, May 4), it continues through until bank holiday Monday (May 7).
The ale festival has been taking place for a few years now but has expanded this year from two venues to four. These are located all around the town and are within walking distance of each other.
Arvon Ale House is a micro pub that continues to win awards. It will be featuring five changing real ales, and eight real ciders/perries. The ale house is family friendly, dogs on leads are welcome. It will be open this Saturday (May 5) from 1pm but will be closed on Monday.
The Conservative Club is having an open house event where non-members are welcome to walk in.There will be eight real ales, 20 real ciders/perries, and there is an inside bar, covered outside bar and outside patio area.
The Llanerch Inn is a 16th century pub with a log fire. They will feature 12 real ales, four real ciders/perries and there will be evening music. There is an open and covered patio and an orchard garden.
The Middleton Arms is a street corner ‘locals’ pub. It will be showcasing three real ales, and two real ciders/perries. There is an open and covered area in the garden. For further details call 07531 658062 or email [email protected].
