FORMER Brecon and Radnorshire MP Chris Davies has arrived at the counting centre at the Royal Welsh Showground.
Mr Davies didn’t say anything when he arrived at the by-election count forced after he was sentenced for, and admitted, expenses offences.
He quickly walked past the waiting press pack at the show ground’s Food Hall and into the closed off counting area.
The by-election was forced after 10,000 or 19% of the electorate signed a recall petition.
Shortly after Mr Davies’ arrival all candidates and agents were called to a meeting with those supervising the count.
