Following the success last year of the first Pilgrimage of Song, the second was held in Knighton over the weekend June 3-5, when people from all around the country came together with local people in Knighton and sang and ate together. This year they started at St Edward's church Hall in Knighton on Friday morning and finalised at St Edward's church on Sunday travelling through Pilleth church, St Michael's at Discoed, Old Radnor St Stephen's, Knighton Baptist, and St Andrew's Presteigne. This Pilgrimage of Song, under the Royal School of Church Music, was directed by Geoff Weaver who together with some 40 people joining in to enjoy the countryside, church song and socialising over coffee's, lunches and evening meals.
