A HUGE police operation at Pen y Fan was due to a search for a missing person.
The Pont ar Daf car park near the Storey Arms outdoor centre was sealed off this morning and there was a large police presence in the surrounding car parks with mountain rescue teams also in attendance.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman said the response was part of a search for a missing person who has been found "safe".
