POLICE have confirmed a body found during a search was that of missing man David Skeen.
Police and volunteers from local mountain rescue teams had been searching for the 51-year-old, from Talgarth, since Tuesday morning, January 3.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman said: "Dyfed-Powys Police can confirm that the body found in the Talgarth area has been formally identified as 51-year-old David Skeen. Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time."
On Saturday evening police confirmed a body had been found in the Talgarth area during the search for Mr Skeen who was last seen after leaving his home to go for a run at around 9am.
