Over the weekend in Llandudno, Welsh Conservative candidate for Brycheiniog Tawe Nedd Tyler Chambers spoke on a farming and rural communities panel at the Conservative Conference.
He highlighted the need for practical support for farmers and stronger opportunities for young people in rural Mid Wales.
Addressing conference delegates, Mr Chambers focused on the importance of fair agricultural policy, reducing unnecessary bureaucracy for farmers, and ensuring that rural communities are not left behind by decision-makers in Cardiff Bay and Westminster.

Mr Chambers said: "Farmers are the backbone of our rural economy and our food security. They need fair policy, less red tape, and real backing from government so they can continue to produce high-quality Welsh food and sustain our rural way of life."
He also stressed the importance of investing in opportunities for young people in rural areas so that they can build their futures close to home.
"Too many young people in Mid Wales feel they have no choice but to leave to find work or training. If we want thriving towns and villages, we must invest in skills, apprenticeships, and local jobs so the next generation can stay and succeed in their communities," he added.
Mr Chambers, who is standing as a Welsh Conservative candidate in the Welsh Parliament elections this May, said the panel was an important opportunity to bring the concerns of Mid Wales farmers and rural families to the main stage.
He said: "It was a privilege to speak up for Mid Wales on the main stage. Our farmers and rural communities deserve a strong voice, and I will continue to fight for policies that support them, strengthen local economies, and secure a future for the next generation."
The Conservative Conference in Llandudno brought together party members, policymakers, and stakeholders from across Wales and the UK.
