JUDE BOUTLE’S wish for good weather during the early stages of her Big Walk has come true.
Llandrindod Wells’ economic development champion adopted a classic ‘Bring Me Sunshine’ pose next to the statue of comic great Eric Morecambe before setting off on the walk last Wednesday, May 16 from Morecambe Bay.
Jude Boutle set off during a live broadcast on BBC’s The One Show. By Friday, May 18 she had crossed the border into Wales to visit a community project in Flintshire and on Tuesday she visited the gardens at Pont Faen House, near Knighton. She has enjoyed almost perfect weather en route.
The Big Walk is designed to shine a light on the people at the heart of the UK’s communities.
