LLANGATTOCK School pupils delighted friends, family and members of the local community again this year at their annual ‘Cuppa and Cake’ Remembrance event.
The children from Years 5 and 6 welcomed their guests to observe the two-minute silence, led by members of the Blaina British Legion, before reciting war poetry, entertaining the troops with wartime songs and serving tea and cakes.
Generous donations were made to the Poppy Appeal, Help for Heroes and The Army Benevolent Fund.
