A quad biker sustained serious injuries when the quad rolled on top of him in Halfway near Llandovery.

Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called to assist Western Beacons Mountain Rescue Team with the incident on Sunday, 26 July.

Wales Ambulance Services were first on scene and provided medical cover. Brecon Mountain Rescue took control on site, and along with Western Beacons Mountain Rescue Team they evacuated the casualty to the waiting Wales Ambulance Services Trust ambulance.

A spokesperson for Brecon Mountain Rescue Team said: “We wish the casualty a full and speedy recovery.”
