A 104-year-old who once jointly held a world record as one of the world's oldest twins has died just days after her latest milestone birthday.
Ena Pugh died on Monday morning, January 6 at hospital where on Saturday, January 4 she had celebrated her 104th birthday.
The centenarian from Erwood, between Brecon and Builth Wells, and her sister Lily Millward, of Garthbrengy were in 2010, aged 100, recognised as the world's oldest living twins by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Ena had been a patient at Hereford County Hospital, where she passed away, since December after falling at home.
Daughter Pauline Davies, of Talgarth, said her mum and sister Lily had been unable to hold their usual joint birthday celebration this year as both were patients in separate hospitals on the landmark occasion.
