A BRECON Beacons National Park Authority member is calling for the public to be allowed to record its meetings - having previously been prohibited from doing so himself.

Richard Stow has put forward the motion to clarify that members of the public are entitled to electronically record meetings of the Park Authority, providing filming doesn't interrupt proceedings.

The motion is set to go before members at their Friday, July 1 meeting. It comes after Mr Stow was stopped from recording a Park meeting which he attended as a member of the public back in 2008.
