The school council at Mount Street Junior School planned their own fun day to raise money on Red Nose Day, which took place on Friday, March 15.
They held a meeting and voted for the best money-making suggestions for Comic Relief.
The children decided to sell red noses and red glasses which were supplied by Specsavers in Brecon. Members of the school council even gave up part of their lunchtimes to run the shop.
Other ideas included asking pupils to donate money to dress in red, have refreshments and have lots of fun dancing to the Red Nose song called ‘Put a Nose on it’.
The staff at the school thanked the school council for all their hard work and for thinking of people in need of support.
