THE Brecon Beacons National Park is proposing to make eight staff redundant as it grapples with a £650,000 budget shortfall.
The park authority is facing a budget cut, from the Welsh Government, of 8.9 per cent in the coming financial year and a likely four per cent cut in 2015/16.
It had previously warned redundancies were likely and has now confirmed it is consulting staff on eight proposed redundancies.
