KADOS (Kington and District Operatic Society) are deep in rehearsals for Puss in Boots at the end of February.

The famous story has been adapted for this pantomime production by Ben Crocker.

Jack the miller’s son uses his last shilling to buy his cat some boots – and suddenly he has the most fabulous talking cat! And with Puss to help him, just about anything is possible – even defeating the fearsome Ogre Grimgrab and marrying the Princess. Expect all the traditional panto ingredients, plenty of song, laughter and audience participation – and some very dangerous Killer Rabbits.

The pantomime is being performed at Lady Hawkins Community Leisure Centre in Kington on Thursday, February 21, Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23 with a 2.30pm matinee performance on the Saturday.

Tickets priced £7 (£5 for under-18s) can be bought at Tom Bounds Electrical, 32 High Street, Kington or by calling 01544 231303 (daytime) or 01544 231501 (evenings). Alternatively visit: kingtonoperatic.co.uk.
